My love of angst came from listening to Wagner's opera's from my mid teens.

My final chapter of "Web of Treason" was inspired by the final act of "Die Walkure" where an angry father banishes a disobedient daughter,who acted only from love of him




The father and daughter are eventually reconciled and I was thinking of the music at the end of this clip when I wrote Aragorn's and Faramir's reconcilliation after their swim in the lake in " A Time to Reap."

If LOTR were an opera, I imagine Aragorn sounding like John Tomlinson, shown here at the Proms with Della Jones. I just wish I could find some more suitable music.
