Jul. 8th, 2018 08:28 pmI entered a show "Elmo Staffy x Chihuahua - Online Pet Show" though I usually only support cat and human charities. If you entered, you got a free entry for the "Aquaman " class so I sent the only water related photo I could find with zero expectations as I expected lots of dogs frolicking in the waves to take part.
Well my boys won out of 124 entries! I can't believe it. It was about the only time they looked at the pool too!

Tree and Flower Awards 2015
Aug. 7th, 2015 11:58 pmI've just finished nominating stories for "The Tree and Flower" Awards and have had great fun browsing and selecting stories. There are only 10 days left in which to nominate.

Very few stories have been nominated yet, so I do hope more people will nominate their favourite stories. I'm sure I'm not the only writer whose day is made if one of their stories are nominated. A contest is only fun if there is plenty of competition! "Tree and Flower" are the only awards we have for existing stories so I hope there will be lots of nominations to make this year's awards a great success.
