Just a few photos from the last week, mostly of the boys and my birthday as I've not been out. It feels like November already! Reuben has actually been a little more affectionate these last few days!

After yesterday, I just wanted a quiet day, but I did venture out to a nearby blackberry bush and gathered half a pound of berries. I checked out another nearby bush, only to find it had been cut down.

I wanted the cats to have some outdoor time as they zooming round the house, but a heavy shower quickly sent us back indoors. There was a beautiful double rainbow. Alas, the camera only captured part of it.

Thomas Leo isn't snuggling as much now he gets older, but that is usual. He is beside me now, though.

Today I was on my own so I opened the door and sat on the seat opposite. Thomas Leo came and stood on the step, I glanced away at Harry. The next moment he was outside. He had a great time playing with Reuben and was good about coming in.

Harry still pretty much ignores him though they sit on opposite ends of my bed together.

The vet said Thomas Leo could go out and I opened the door to let him explore the great outdoors. Thomas Leo refused to cross the threshold! I shall leave him to make up his own mind as I don't want to frighten him. Maybe he didn't like my friend being there. He is a one woman kitten like Leo, but Leo loved the outside.

I felt sad as the robin was trying to protect its chick, which was half dead in an outhouse. I think my boys put it out of its misery. It's sad so many birds don't survive, but I hope my garden behind the yard is a good habitat.

My tulips, which cost all of £1.49P have been amazing.A friend planted them and I forgot about them till they bloomed.

My latest photos, mostly of the boys and flowers. My 96 year old friend planted some tulips for me which I found in a leftover supermarket bin for 99P. I'm amazed how well they turned out.

Spring flowers and the ginger boys.

The boys were leaping like lambs in the yard today.

The tulips in the vase were a gift from a friend.

A few more photos, mostly of Harry's outings. It has been either too hot or too wet to look at neighbouring gardens.

Now when I pick up my camera, Harry expects an outing. He squeaks with excitement and keeps looking to see if I'm following. We have to rub hears on every chair he passes as he leaps on to furniture rather than walk pass it.

He now often goes back into the house before me, but Friday afternoon when my cleaning lady was here, he decided to sit in the yard instead. I went for da bird and he came in at once. Leo decided to go out and sit in the sun too. Earlier, he had knocked over his mug of water.

He won't cross the threshold when it rains, no doubt recalling when he was trapped outside in a storm.

At night, he likes me to uncover the cat flap so he can put out a paw or his head, but he doesn't try to go through it.

Today he was fascinated by a snail on the wall.

I usually sit on the seat in the yard and he keeps coming up to me as if to tell me something.

I had a friend's ex husband come and tidy my garden today. I took Harry out and he seemed to approve and rolled joyfully in the grass clippings. For once it was no problem to get him in as the neighbours' children threw a ball over, which made me jump and terrified poor Harry who ran inside to hide under a chair,

I was talking to a neighbour on Friday, who told me her old cat was now on her last legs, but she is 24 years old!

A few photos from the last few days. flowers and lots of cats from the next street. Note how the lilies are minus their stamens as I'm friends with Nelly's people and told them about the dangers of lily pollen. As usual, I could not get Harry to come in. He wanted to sniff every blade of grass and taste it.

At last weather is back to the normal mid 60's.

My friend came to visit, but had to get a taxi.We took Harry out and he behaved perfectly and went back in after 20 minutes or so, unlike keeping me out for an hour!

Here are some photos of flowers, assorted cats and dogs and my boys. Harry has a new toy to show off and has been reading and and using the computer LOL. Leo is relaxing.

Not so many photos this week as it has been too hot to go out. You can see a few flowers, the church garden party in pouring pain, a welcome end to the heat and the ginger boys. Also some more colouring.

Here are my latest photos, mainly of flowers with a few of the ginger boys. Some are taken on my old camera as I'd mislaid my usual one. I've found it now.

I've had a hectic few days and am now hoping for a bit of peace to work on my latest story. At least it is cool, thank Goodness!

The litter box photo is of Harry's latest escapade, taking all the clean tray liners and putting them in his box! You can also see him "help" my cleaning lady. The grey cat is Penny, who belongs to friends.
