I would like to wish all my friends in the USA a very Happy Thanksgiving.
We don't celebrate it here in the Uk,the nearest being Harvest Festivals in churches.
I think it is a good day though to say how thankful I am to you all for your friendship and continuing interest in and support of my stories.
My online friends are a constant source of joy to me.Thank you all for being great friends and vastly enriching my life.
Thankfulness
I’m thankful for the sunbeams
And thankful for the rain.
I’m thankful for the friendships
That last through joy and pain.
I’m thankful for the blossom
That clothes the trees in Spring.
I’m thankful for the butterflies
And all the birds that sing.
I’m thankful I have shelter
And food enough to eat.
I’m thankful for a purring cat,
To lie across my feet.
I’m thankful for those memories
Which fill my heart with love.
I’m thankful for the times I’ve shared
With those who’re now above.
I’m thankful for the oceans.
That lap around our shore.
I’m thankful for the woodlands
And landscapes that endure.
I’m thankful for red sunsets
That set the sky ablaze
I’m thankful for the rainbows
Which gladden stormy days.
I thank the great Creator
For all these gifts, I see.
That in this boundless universe.
There is a place for me. (C)RGM
