I came across all these plants on a patch of wasteground a couple of hours ago. I've passed them many times without looking, but in days gone by they would have been see as a cure for a wide variety of health problems.Interestingly enough, last week the local paper interviewed an old man of 103 who attributed his long life to drinking cordials of dandelion, burdock and nettle.

That is a lovely garden. And I loved reading all the information about the herbs, especially the dandelion because I have a very soft spot for it in my heart.

It is actually a patch of wasteground under a very old hedge< but it is easy to imagine from the photos that I've found Aragorn's garden! I love dandelions too!

I'd prefer to live dangerously and drink ginger beer.
