Very interesting, Linda! I read also the books 20 years before the movies were released. When I have watched the movies, I have found many fanfictions about LOTR in the internet. I have begun to write fanfictions in the X-Men fandom before. But, since 2004, I am writing only about LOTR. I write mostly stories about my favorite character Faramir. In the German LOTR fandom, there are too less stories about Faramir.
