I guess there just wasn't anywhere they felt wouldn't be gratuitous. It certainly wasn't because Viggo was shy about showing a bit of skin. LOL

Yes it certainly wasn't about Viggo's shyness. I saw his recent movie, Eastern Promises, and yeah the man is far from shy! The sauna fight scene....um, yeah, that's all I'm going to say! Very violent movie, but was interesting. He was good in A History of Violence too. I would have loved to have seen a few more scenes of Arwen and Aragorn in the LOTR movies too. Them dancing in the rain would have been cool! See Linda, you should have been on the screenplay consulting team for the movies!

As you already know Linda, I left you a review at FF and SOA I really did love this story. It helped my summer storms from back home feel near again. It just doesn't storm like that out here in Southern Cali. :-(

I have a copy of "Eastern Promises" but haven't yet watched it.I know Viggo is not like my shy Aragorn!

I wished they had asked us fans what should have been in the film!I wanted Aragorn healing Faramir as well as more Aragorn and Arwen!

Fierce storms are pretty rare in the UK,a few flashes of sheet lightning is usually all we get.

Eastern Promises is good, but very violent and dark. I'm not usually into very violent movies. It has to have a good story to back it up. Yes, I tend to prefer Viggo as Aragorn. He got so into that role, an that's what I love. I wish they had asked fans too, but could you imagine all the requests they would get. It's no wonder they didn't. I hope The Hobbit gets off the ground and happens. Ian Mckellen said he would love to play Gandalf again, and Eru help them if they don't recast him for that role!

Here where I live now, people freak out, literally, if it sprinkles just a tiny bit of rain, and there's all sorts of car accidents. It's horrible. I come from a place where we had tornados every spring and summer, and it was just a part of life. A tornado ripped the roof off our house once and shattered all the windows. Why I still love storms is beyond me. .......Gee, that was totally NOT romantic was it? LOL! Sorry! No tornados in Gondor I hope!!

I'm only planning to watch as Viggo is in it.I guess I can close my eyes at any bits too gory for me!

People freak out at snow in the UK.

We do very occasionally get high winds. Most of our slates blew off in the mid 1970's!

oie! Me and my tangents. I apologize. Really though, it was a very fitting story.
