Thank you, i'm pleased you enjoyed them. I think the fireplace is about 70 years old(with a modern gas fire)The kitchen fireplace is the original Victorian. I use a gas heater,though!

The second picture reminds me of one of those 'hidden' pictures from when I was a kid. "Circle the cats hidden in this picture. How many cats can you find?"

Is Elessar a stray ranger cat?
They are all gorgeous. They do find the best warm spots in the house. Mine like to sprawl in front of the heating vents which are at floor level.

Yes,Elessar is something of a Ranger,though he was named for his grey "cloaK" and gren jewel eyes.

He was born next door,sent to live with neighbours down the street,didn'rt like it there and lives with me most of the time to the disgust of the other cats.

He is gorgeous isn't he? He is actually a dark smokey grey. I named him Elessar as he has a grey cloak and green jewels!
