The first time Aragorn saw her, she walked beneath the birches, slender and lithe: her hair rippling in the breeze. He gave his heart.

Long years passed and he cherished his hopeless longing deep within his heart. Then, they were reunited beneath the mallorns. It seemed then that she were crowned with golden flowers. He vowed to make her his Queen. They gave their hearts to one another.

Today Arwen sits beneath the White Tree, a baby girl in her arms while their son chases the falling blossoms, trying vainly to catch one.

Their love had flourished and born fruit.

A very touching drabble Linda. In a few well chosen and fitting images, you've managed to give us a most truthful and poetic portrayal of Aragorn and Arwen's love.
