The Church Excursion to Chester Cathedral
The cathedral site is almost 1,000 years old as it was one of the few abbeys spared by Henry VIII who decided it should be a church and a school. The windows date mainly from Victorian times with a few modern ones.We saw an exhibition of Christmas trees in the cloisters. The last photo is of 2 baubles I bought from the gift shop. A complete stranger remarked my Christmas dress made her day! I used to visit the cathedral often in my youth but hadn't been in 20 odd year. Look out for the cobweb picture, one of only around 60 that exist. Sadly it was a day with terrible light which wasn't good for photos.

Calendars
I've created some calendars to help raise money for God's Little People who arranged Filipos' adoption.
They badly need funds and £5, ie all the profit from the calendars will be sent to help them.

I found Filipos like this on the landing the other night when I went to the bathroom. I'd left a dress, a towel and a cardigan on the bannister rail.
